Club Service 11July-Ravi Dixit-Yoga for Longevity&Mental Health On 11th July, Shri Ravi Dixit, a distinguished Yoga Educator addressed us on “Yoga for Longevity & Mental Health” at the Willingdon Sports Club. He emphasized the three pillars of a healthy and purposeful life – determination, dedication and discipline. He highlighted the importance of correct breathing, positive and mindful thoughts, a cheerful expression, staying connected with the earth, walking barefoot, sound sleep, and letting go of emotional, physical, and mental burdens. He also advocated a balanced diet rich in fibre through sprouts and salads, along with the right proportion of proteins and carbohydrates. Community Service 10th July - Notebooks, Backpacks Distribution On 10th July we did a community Service Project along with our Inner Wheel Club of Bombay North wherein we distributed notebooks and school backpacks, pouches filled with stationery items to 110 students of Maratha Mandir Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar High School, Worli. Together, we continue to nurture young minds and support their educational journey through meaningful service. The project was attended by President Rtn Hemangini Desai, Rtn Dr Vidya Mukund, Rtn Dhanalaxmi Gandhi, IW Club of Bombay North President Jayshree Lakhotia and IW Member Sadhna. Club Service 4July-Installation of President Hemangini Desai On 4 July, Rtn. Hemangini Desai was installed as President of RCBN for the year 2026–27, along with her new Board of Directors. The ceremony was graced by District Governor Rtn. Rajan Dua, First Lady Rtn. Priti Dua, AG Rtn. Vishhal Saxxenaa, district dignitaries, co-presidents and guests. She shared her vision of strengthening Rotary fellowship and undertaking impactful, sustainable service initiatives. She spoke about Solar Power & Water Supply initiative which will increase the farmers yield of 1 crop a year to 3 crops a year in 10 villages of the Palghar District; continuing free child heart & cataract surgeries at SRCCS Mumbai & the Netralaya Hospital at Dehradun. building of a full-fledged School in Kashmir in collaboration with Indian Army plus a spend of over USD 3.5 million in various medical, educational & social outreach programs.
